Your Address is More Important Than Your House

According to the famous saying, "Real estate is all about location, location, location", the house should be only #4 on your list when looking to buy a home. Why, because the address (location ) has far greater impact on your livelihood, health, happiness, social life, and your children's education, than your house itself. Your home can be changed, modified, or have walls moved, and it can be made bigger or smaller. However, you cannot change your location's topography, weather, your neighbors, the direction your home faces, the schools assigned to your address, the proximity to shopping, entertainment, major highways, job opportunities, or even the amount of property and sales tax you pay. When buying a house, your address is more important than your home.
